The corset – the symbol of the erotic history

Few garments tell as much about the history of sexuality and gender identity as the corset does.

The first known corset is seen on a 5000 years old Crete urn. The urn shows a priestess from the so-called snake culture, and she is wearing a Bronze corset, which gives her the classical hourglass figure.
