Legalization of pornography
Denmark
was the first country in the world to legalize pornography. It
occurred in 1969, and the whole world watched this “sexual
experiment” with great interest. What would the legalization
of pornography mean to society and the sexuality of its citizens?
Some believed that society would slowly deteriorate – others
thought that it was a huge step towards achieving a truly free
society. The porn actress Traci Lords become the symbol of early
porn.
